My sister was having a sweet 16. I was in charge of designing her digital invitation. The party's color scheme was white and grey blue, and touches of light rose and gold. The party didn't have a specific theme, so I used a mixture of a few design elements to fit with the color scheme. Because the event was happening during the spring time, I was inspired by tea parties, lace doillies, floral designs, and wedgewood designs.
I designed two invitation templates. The first one has wedgewood style elements. I tried to make it look like an oval, blue, wedgewood clay plate/plaque. The second version is similar, but it's rectangular and has scalloped edges. I tried to make this one look like a doily. It has a few illustrations that looked like cross stitching or embroidery. We decided to go with the second invitation as the final invitation.
